More stuff to blog about when I have more time and/or energy:

-The impending launch of News 9 San Antonio
-The launch party held last week
-Trip to Austin to visit Suzanne and hang out on campus
-A truth that I'm still trying to realize
-Texas' performance in the NCAA Men's (and Women's) Basketbally Tournaments (Awesome, baby!)
-The status of my Lenten sacrifice

It's official. I'm now living in workplace hell.

Okay, so maybe things aren't THAT bad, but they weren't that great today. I screwed up by abandoning my post at the audio board while we were recording stories. In my defense, I thought that two other guys were coming to take over. When they didn't, a few people got upset with me.

What got me riled up is what happened afterwards. Now, I'm not above the occasional verbal reprimand. People screw up, people have to get talked at. What got me is that no less than FIVE DIFFERENT PEOPLE told me the same thing (essentially) in the span of five hours. My God, I felt like Peter from "Office Space" at that point.

Hopefully next week will go better.... but until then, off to bed with me.

Don't laugh, but I've created a new blog dedicated to tracking my Lenten sacrifice. Enjoy.

Did you know?

- The "Hook 'em Horns" handsign is considered an obscene gesture in Europe. (Maybe this will get Teri to flash the Horns on her trip...)
- The Bonfire Memorial was created by a firm founded by three Longhorns.
